Learn to Play the Piano For a Fraction of the Cost of Private Lessons...

From an Expert with Years of Experience,
From the Comfort of Your Own Home...At your Own Pace...

From:  Pete Cullen
Dear Music Lover,

Have you spent years wanting to learn to play the piano..and time after time told yourself that you're too busy, or that you really couldn't do it,  or that it's too expensive, and a million other excuses. I did the same thing for a long time, but then I finally took the plunge and contacted my local music store to inquire about lessons.  And that's how I met Neil... and I'm really glad I did...

What I look for in a teacher is someone who has an innate devotion and lives for the subject. Neil Waltzer exemplifies this principle.  There is no moss on this man.

He has been rolling through the worlds of Classical, Blues, Jazz and the Great American Songbook for more than 40 years and he has acquired layer upon layer of substance.

Despite this lifelong experience he retains a child like curiosity and excitement for new musical discoveries.  He beams with pride and revels in the progress of his pupils.  His enthusiasm is infectious and those under his tutelage  inevitably become afflicted with the same love of music.

He does not simply teach. He explains the music in historical, theoretical and chromatic contexts. Neil brings you into the music so that you can understand the inside of the song. He is music and with his help you will be too.

PlayWell

I started lessons with Neil one Saturday in one of the practice rooms at my local music store. I told him a bit about my experience with the piano, played a few scales for him, and off we went.

After the first lesson, he recommended a few music books for me, and I bought them on the way out of the store that day.  One was the Hannon exercises and the other was a standard collection of classical pieces appropriate for my level (pretty low) and Neil showed me what he wanted me to look at for the next lesson. When I got home and really looked at what Neil wanted me to learn, I thought..."he must be nuts! I can't play that..."

But I did..not right away...and here's the secret...

The Secret

What Neil taught me was how to break down complicated things into smaller, simpler pieces that are playable, and then to put the pieces together. And if he can teach that to me, he can show it to you too.

Neil has been teaching piano to my teenage daughter for over 3 years now. We are well into the teen moodiness yet Neil has incredible patience working through tough times and not enough practice at times.

I am delighted at the abilities he has taught my daughter in music appreciation, exposure to different styles, and bringing out her depth of feelings and expression in her playing.

Neil and I are Brooklynites and we never run out of conversation. He is a great gabber and historian of the olden days in Brooklyn.  We enjoy learning about his musical background and his experiences.  He has taught us that it is normal to be nervous playing in public.

We love his stories explaining how even the masters get jitters before performances. He intrinsically understands when theory and timing  and a little explanation  are necessary. He appreciates the talents of his students.

Neil has begun teaching my 8 year old son now too.  He has brought this very impulsive and chatty young boy to a level of playing I would not have believed possible.  I love to sit at home listening to my children play.   They look forward to their lessons.  They enjoy Neil.  I believe Neil is a real child at heart.  He smiles as much as the children.  It is a pleasure coming to piano lessons.
This says it all.

Here's the other "secret"...

Reading music is NOT hard.  For some reason, reading music has taken on this aura of difficulty and lots of people miss out on a lot of pleasure at the keyboard because they think it's too hard to do.Hey..we all learned to read English, right?  Reading notes is a whole lot easier than that.

A few times a week I'll sit at my piano and open a music book - flip to an interesting looking page - and start picking out the right hand part of the piece to get a sense of what it sounds like. If I couldn't read the notes, I couldn't do that.  So learning to read is part of what Neil wants to show you.

Why Playwell?

You may have seen other things on the Web claiming to teach you to play "by ear" or "by  magic", or "by foot". Well, that may work sometimes and for some people, but EVERYONE can learn to read music - and why would you want to completely ignore all the written music in the world?

Got a favorite pop tune? With what Neil will show you, you'll be able to sit down and learn it, play it, and play it really well. And once you have the tools, you can do it with any tune you take a fancy to - whether it's "Hotel California" or "Moonlight Sonata".

And once you have the tools, you can do it with any tune you take a fancy to - whether it's "Hotel California" or "Moonlight Sonata".

Neil Waltzer has been teaching my son for the past six years. His love of music is infectious.  He, on the one hand, challenges his students but is also extremely patient.

In addition to teaching the technical and artistic components of piano-playing, he also imparts an incredible amount of music theory and history at a level that his students can understand.

He has an enormous number of anecdotes about famous composers and musicians that brings their works to life.  He teaches all types and genres of music.  He is proud of the accomplishments of his students and encourages his students to strive for perfection.

How It Works...

There's a bunch of other products on the Web that claim to make you a piano maven in "no time flat" for only $39 or $49 or whatever. What a lot of them do is sell you a book, maybe some videos  and say "So long...good luck...see you at Carnegie Hall..."

I know that you know that all these claims are silly.  The number of people that make any progress at all with that approach is pretty small. PlayWell is different. We're not going to sell you a book or a video and then run away and never talk to you again. PlayWell lessons come in bundles, and - this is really important- we have a community website (for PlayWell members only) that gives you a place to talk to Neil, to talk to other people, and to gather online for special "extra" stuff from Neil, like calls, extra videos, and advice from a guy whose been in the music business for 40 years. Neil's got more stories and knowledge about music than you could ever imagine - and he LOVES to talk! And you can get him going with your questions...Just click the arrow on the player below and listen for a bit...

So what do you think 5 lessons from Neil are worth? Well, let me share some inside info with you. Neil commands $80/hr for his private lessons in New York. Why do people pay that kind of money? Simple because he's one of the best around. So 5 lessons comes to $400, right? Well, the good news is that these video lessons, where Neil teaches all the same things as in the $80/hr lessons, are much less - because Neil can reach a much wider audience on the Web. So, even $200, or $150 would seem fair and reasonable for what Neil shows here ...right?

Well, believe it or not, you can get all 5 of these lessons for even less than that...all 5 lessons (and FREE membership in the PlayWell Forum) are yours today for only $39.95. And you get a FREE membership in the PlayWell Forum (which is just as valuable - if not more valuable that than the lessons themselves because the PlayWell gives you access to all of Neil's knowledgte and experience. He'll answer your questions about the lessons, about how to take your playing to the next level, about any style or genre of music you can think of...and all you have to do is ask! So we're NOT giving you some lessons and then wishing you good luck. Neil is there on the forum to help you, encourage you, show you how, help you improve, and to give you an amazing look at the entire world of piano playing, music theory, and music history. Teachers with Neil's knowledge and love of their subject are a very rare commodity - and you can get connected (and stay that way) right now in the forum when you purchase the lesson bundle. And there will be lots of extras in the forum - Neil can't resist helping interested musicians - believe me -you'll miss a lot if you're not there.
